Andy D

Andy D, I am also a DJ on Luton Urban Radion (LUR). I have a show on Sunday evening 6-8pm, playing all genres of music. I have been playing on LUR for over 6 years.

I have been in the entertainment business since the age of 15, when I used to follow my older brother’s sound system. This led to my passion for playing and entertaining people.

In the 1990s we started a sound (my cousins and I) called Plus 3, the Girl’s ting!! We played at house parties and nightclubs across London and promoted our own dances. We played all genres of music and had a big following.

We also had 2 radio shows on Klymaxx 92.9 radio where we played a late-night show and a drivetime show where were joined by Smuggler T.

I took a break from playing music when I decided to live abroad in Spain (but kept my music collection going).

On my return from Spain, I picked up from where I left off and began playing out at parties and in clubs again.

I am an all-rounder entertainer; I play music and MC to spice up the crowd.

I am pleased to be a part of the LUSH entertainment team and look forward to the Jazz Festival 2026.
